Rock Hill Community-Based Outpatient Clinic
The Rock Hill Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) offers primary care, mental health, and laboratory services to veterans in the VA system. This facility is located at 205 Piedmont Blvd in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This facility’s hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., from Monday through Friday, and it can be reached by phone at (803) 366-4848.
Although this facility does offer a number of important health services, patients who need a wider range of care or inpatient services can visit the Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VAMC. The Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VAMC is the parent facility of the Rock Hill CBOC, meaning patients can be referred to it from the smaller support clinic. Five other community-based outpatient clinics operate in support of this main hospital. These clinic locations are Anderson, Florence, Greenville, Orangeburg, Spartanburg, and Sumter, South Carolina.
However, before patients can access the services of the Rock Hill CBOC or any other facility in the Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn system, they must verify they actually are eligible to receive VA health care. To do so, patients need to access and complete their application for health care benefits, which can be found on the VA system’s website. Following verification of their eligibility, patients are asked to first make an appointment before attempting to receive care from any of these facilities. As a health care system which serves tens of thousands of veterans, walk-in, urgent, or emergency care services are not available. Finally, patients who encounter difficulty keeping an existing appointment are asked to notify the facility as soon as possible, which will allow them to be seen sooner and give another patient the chance to be seen in that spot.
