He is also chief of the Division of Surgical Oncology for Creighton University’s Cancer Center. Dr. Loggie is a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery since 1990 and Endowed Bonnstetter Chair. Dr. Loggie has various areas of special interest and expertise, namely: Peritoneal carcinomatosis and malignant ascites

Education and Training Dr. Loggie’s undergraduate work was completed at Loyola College in Montreal, Canada in 1974, after which he earned his medical degree in 1979 from McGill University, also located in Montreal. Following his education, Dr. Loggie participated in an internship at the Department of Surgery, Montreal General Hospital and completed his residency in surgery in 1986 at the same location. He achieved further education and training during his residency in surgery, concurrently completing graduate studies at the McGill University in the Department of Experimental Surgery. Dr. Loggie conducted his clinical and research fellowship in Surgical Oncology at the Division of Surgical Oncology, at the University of Illinois, in Chicago. He received his certificate of training in Surgical Oncology from the University of Illinois School Of Medicine.
