Dr. Ross began her education at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) where she received a Medical Degree in Thoracic Oncology. She then went on to fulfill her residency at Cedar Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Ross’ fellowship was also completed at UCLA within the Hematology and Medical Oncology Department. She is certified in a number of different f fields including an American Board certification in Internal Medicine, as well as an American Board certification in Internal Medicine; Medical Oncology and Hematology.

In addition to Dr. Ross’ specialty of Internal Medicine, she also has a number of areas of expertise. Her expertise includes fields such as chest wall tumors, clinical trials, epidemiology, esophagus cancer, immune system disorders, lung cancer, mesothelioma and tumor biology. Dr. Ross’s clinical interests also include thoracic oncology, multimodality therapy, and malignant mesothelioma.

Throughout Dr. Ross’ 23 years of experience, she has accumulated a number of different accolades, awards and published works in major health journals. She has been recognized as one of Castle Connolly’s “Top Doctors” in multiple cancer categories since 2007, including overall recognition since 2008. She has been fortunate enough to be published in over 70 publications including “The Journal of Thoracic Oncology” and “The Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation”, among others.

Right now, Dr. Ross serves at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona taking part in numerous clinical trials, where she can put her lab results to use. She currently helps phase I and II mesotheliomia patients, as well as a number of other cancer patients, including many esophageal cancer patients Her current lab and trial work involves the development of original, specific radiation therapies for multiple types of cancer patients.
